Hanne Rivrud is an Oslo based artist working with moving image.
She graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2006.
Her works often contain an element of voyeurism and examine the borderline between private and public. With the camera as a subjective observer, she explores everyday situations, and broader themes such as identity, dynamics within relationships, and the feeling of being ostracised.
Her work has been exhibited internationally including 2007 Venice Biennale (IT); New York Art Book Fair, PS1 MOMA (US); MKII, London (GB); First Draft Gallery, Sydney (AU); Ars Electronica, Linz (AT); National Art Exhibition, Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (NO)
